Mahindra Thar Facelift likely to launch next week
Mahindra is reportedly planning to launch the facelifted version of the Mahindra Thar SUV in the Indian market next week.
Mahindra is reportedly planning to launch the facelifted version of the Mahindra Thar SUV in the Indian market at the brand’s annual Independence Day event, which has been scheduled for next week.
The updated three-door SUV might be upgraded with similar features as its elder sibling, the Thar Roxx. The company is also expected to make some cosmetic update including a new grille, new LED taillights, and a fresh design for the alloy wheels.
The SUV will likely feature C-shaped LED DRLs integrated into the new projector headlamps.
Inside, the facelifted Mahindra Thar might be equipped with an ADAS suite, fully digital colour instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, and more.
Mechanically, the three-door SUV will be offered in 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and 2.2-litre diesel motors. The SUV is expected to be paired with six-speed manual and automatic transmissions, to be carried over unchanged. Also up for offer will be 4×4 and RWD trims.
According to leak reports, the 2026 Mahindra Thar three-door SUV will likely be launched alongside an all-new product. The new product is likely to be the production-ready version of the Vision S SUV.
In addition to these models, the Indian SUV brand is expected to roll out a few more updates
