Kia Seltos Gravity Edition And MG Astor To Be Launched In India Soon; Check Expected Prices, Key Details

The automobile market of India will witness the arrival of many SUVs in the upcoming months Among which two new SUVs of Kia Motor India and MG Motor India are present.

Kia Motor India is going to add the Kia Seltos Gravity Edition to the Seltos model lineup while the MG Motor India will unveil the MG Astor.

Seltos Gravity Edition Price, Features

Kia Motor is going to debut the brand’s new logo with the launch of the Seltos Gravity Edition cars in India. The Kia Seltos Gravity Edition is schedule to launch on 27th April 2021.

Kia Seltos Gravity Edition is likely to be based on the top-end variant and receive some improvement over the regular model.

The new car will have key features will include a new chrome-studded front grille with 3-dimensional design, new dual-tone 18-inch machined alloys, chrome embellishments on the ORVMs and door garnish with silver finish, grey interior theme, high beam assist functions, lane keep assist, forward collision prevention assistance system and rear passenger notification and more.

Kia likely to add a panoramic sunroof to the Seltos new edition.

The Seltos’ Seltos Gravity Edition is likely to be come with the existing 1.5L petrol and diesel engine which may produce 113bhp horsepower and a 1.4L turbo petrol engine option which will produce 138bhp horsepower.

We expect it to be priced more than the existing variants of the Seltos that costs from Rs 9.89 lakh to Rs 17.45 lakh. It will likely cost around Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG Astor Price, Features

The MG Astor has been scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2021.

It is likely to be the petrol variant of the ZS SUV. The new SUV is expected to be offered with the 1.5L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and 1.3L turbocharged petrol engine options.

The engines will produce power around 120bhp and 150Nm of torque and 163bhp and 230Nm respectively.

The turbo-petrol engine variant will be significantly more powerful than the Creta turbo petrol that makes 138bhp.

The MG Astor will reportedly come with advance driver assistance system (ADAS) which will make it the first vehicle in its segment to offer ADAS.

It will also offer MG iSmart connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof, a 360 degree camera, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, automatic AC unit, cruise control and more.

MG Astor is estimated to have a starting price of Rs 10 lakh for the base variant and go up to Rs 15 lakh for the top variant.

 

In the upcoming months the SUVs set to be launched in India are the Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata HBX mini SUV.
