Jio, Airtel price hike: Hurry up! Recharge now to avoid paying Rs 600 extra from tomorrow

Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel has announced tariff hike for their prepaid and postpaid plans in India. The tariff hike will come into effect from July 3, which is tomorrow. So, if you don’t want to pay more for the recharge plans then you can buy the annual recharge plans or should queue up the packs now.

How do you save money by recharging now?

The annual packs of both Jio and Airtel will cost Rs 600 more than the current price after the tariff hike from July 3. So, you should recharge the annual plan now to get 365 days validity with other benefits.

Jio annual plan

Jio’s most affordable annual plan currently costs Rs 2,999. It offers 365 days validity, 2.5GB of daily data and unlimited 5G service. It also packs the other standard benefits offered with Jio’s recharge pack.

After July 3, the plan’s price will increased by Rs 600 to Rs 3,599. So, recharge with the plan to enjoy unlimited 5G with other benefits for the next 365 days.

Airtel annual plan

Airtel also offers an annual plan that offers 365 days of validity. The price costs the same as the Jio plan, which is Rs 2,999. However unlike Jio’s 2999 plan, Airtel plan packs only 2GB data. With the tariff hike imposed from July 3, the users of both Jio and Airtel will be charged Rs 600 more for the same annual plan.
