Hyundai Alcazar SUV To Launch In India Soon, Check Specs and Expected Price Here

Korean Automobile Manufacturer Hyundai is all set to launch its upcoming three row seater SUV Alcazar in India. The Alcazar will full-fill the void between between Creta and Tucson in the Indian markets.

According to the latest spotting of the test vehicle (Alcazar) it was noticed that that the SUV is not similar to Creta from the exterior. However, the engine of the car is expected to be similar to that of the Creta. The Creta is powered by a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel/ petrol engines. But the engines will be tuned in a different way to fit the power requirements of Alcazar. It is expected that the Alcazar will be offered in 6 speed manual and automatic transmissions.

Speaking about the cabin of the Alcazar, it will be available in 7 seater and 6 seater variants. The 7 seater will get regular three rows while the 6 seater will get captain seats in the middle row. The captain seats will get a mounted armrest for utility and comfort of the passengers. Other connectivity features of the SUV include a touch screen infotainment system (preferably around 10-11 inches), wireless charging, parking sensors, interactive engine consoles etc.

The Alcazar will compete with the likes of MG Hector Plus, 2021 Tata Safari and the upcoming new model of XUV500 in India. The price of the Alcazar is expected to be between Rs 12 to 20 lakhs at the time of its launch in April.
