How will Ola S1 Electric scooter users get their vehicles serviced

The Ola S1 Electric scooter (S1 and S1 Pro) have received a tremendous positive response from the Indian customers. The Ola S1 Electric scooter launched on August 15 and went on sale from September 9. According to the company, they did a business of around Rs 1,100 crore in just two days. However, the question of servicing has been hovering around in the mind of many users.

Even though OLA electric does not have the presence of dealerships and service centres across the country, it has clearly mentioned that the customers will not face any issues regarding servicing. Ola Electric in its official website has mentioned that, the user will have the same convenience in servicing as they will have in the deliveries. The company plans to provide the servicing facility at the home of owner. This means that the users have a hassle-free experience in servicing.

In order to get a servicing of their vehicle, the buyers have to use the official application of the scooter. After the booking for servicing is made through the App, an Ola Champion is assigned to conduct the service. An estimated time of arrival is also shown on the App. The assigned technical will arrive at your home and conduct a service in front of you. The Predictive AI maintenance will be used in the scooter, which will help users to get alerts regarding the service or a repair.

According to recent purchasing behaviour of the electric scooter buyers, it was reported that the S1 Pro variant is the one which outsells the lower priced S1.

However, keeping in mind about the price of both the electric bikes, the experts had assumed that the S1 will sell more than the S1 Pro.

The OLA S1 has a battery capacity of 2.98kWh with a top speed of 90km/hr. The S1 gives a total range of 121 kms and is offered in drive modes of normal and sports. On the other hand, the OLA S1 Pro has a battery capacity of 3.97kWh and has a range of 181km. The S1 Pro is offered in Normal, Sports and Hyper modes. Both the scooters can be fast charged to offer 75km in 18 min. the top speed of the scooter is 115kmph.

In terms of colours the Ola electric offers customers to select from a range of 10 colours which include gold, pink, black, blue, red, blue, yellow, silver, gray and white. The Ola Electric scooter offers a very practical feature for its users- the reverse mode, revealed the company. Additionally the scooter also gets a keyless start/ stop feature.
