It seems that the love for SUVs in India is significantly increasing with each passing year. While the waiting period of a few months in understandable, there are few SUVs in India that have a prolonged waiting period of up to 12 months.
While the longest waiting period is that of Thar SUV, others like XUV700, Creta, Seltos, Magnite, and are not much behind.

The waiting period of this popular mid-size SUV can go up to 10 months in some cities of India.
Tata Punch
The recently released Tata Punch SUV gets a waiting period up to 8 months in some cities of India.
Kia Seltos
The Kia Seltos has become quite popular in its segment. The Seltos is worthy enough to give a tough competition to Hyundai Creta. In terms of waiting period, the Kia Seltos can go up to 6 months.
Nissan Magnite
The delivery of Nissan Magnite can extend up to five months in some cases.
Renault Kiger
The delivery of Renault Kiger can go up to four months.
