Honda to introduce new variants of Honda Activa and Honda Dio very soon

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is all set to launch new variants of Honda Activa and Honda Dio in the upcoming months. Even though the Honda has not has officially revealed about the launch, the information was revealed by the type approval documents filed with the Delhi RTO.

According to the new documents, the Activa 6G will be available in two new variants while the Dio will be available in four new variants. The enhancements in the new upgrades of the Activa and Dio will be majorly cosmetic and with no engine enhancement.

Honda Activa 6G

The Honda Activa 6G will get two variants- Activa 6G and Activa 6G LED. It was mentioned in the documents that a variant of Activa will receive all-LED setup. It is also a possibility that Honda offers optional alloy wheels instead of steel wheels for top variants. The Activa 6G is powered by a 109.51cc, single-cylinder engine and generates 7.68hp power and 8.79Nm of torque.

Honda Dio

Honda Dio which is one of the sporty scooters offered by Honda gets four variants as an upgrade. The cosmetic enhancement of the scooter will include composite cast wheels, digital speedometer and a 3D emblem. The Honda Dio Repsol edition is the only variant in the Dio that gets alloy wheels.

The new Honda Dio is powered by a 109.51cc, single-cylinder engine which is same as that of the Activa. However, the engine generates a power of 7.68hp and 8.79Nm of torque.

Both the Honda Activa 6G and the Honda Dio will be launched in India in the upcoming weeks when the country will have a major festive season. Further details of the scooters will be made available once the launch dates are announced by Honda.
