The Elevate Black Edition will be getting cosmetic update but mechanically the SUV will be the same. The SUV gets all-black paint on the outside and there are gloss black elements too. The logo of Honda and Elevate has chrome finishes. On the interior, the SUV gets dashboard, door pads, headliner and seats in black colour.
Earlier reports have suggested that the Honda Elevate Black Edition will be launched in March but sources have mentioned that the launch has been brought forward. Even though the Honda Elevate was launched to compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, the sales of the former are 1500 units. The Elevate Black Edition will be added after the Elevate Apex Edition went on sales some months ago.
Elevate Black Edition is likely to be priced around Rs 75,000-80,000 more than the variant it is based on. The engine on the SUV is likely to remain the same as other models. We still get a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 121hp of peak power. The engine is mated with 6-speed manual or 7-step CVT gearbox options. The Honda Elevate is 4,312mm in length, 1,790mm in width and 1,650mm in height. The wheelbase of the SUV is 2650mm while the boot space is 458 liters. On the other hand, the ground clearance of the Elevate is 220mm.
