Honda CB200X Adventure bike launched in India; Check price, features

The Honda CB200X is priced at Rs 1,44,500 (ex-showroom, Gurgaon). The motorcycle is available with three colours that is Red, Silver and Black.

The booking of the bike has started from 19th August 2021, and the deliveries will start from September.

The CB200X is a road-biased adventure bike with some moderate off-roading features. The company will sold the CB200X through its regular chain of dealerships.

Honda is offering an 6-year warranty package (3 years standard, plus 3 years optional extended warranty) on CB200X.

As per the company the urban explorer – CB200X is build keeping in mind the evolving lifestyle of the Indian youth. The company has claimed that it will gives today’s youngsters a riding experience that pushes them to explore more.

The new Honda CB200X will compete against Hero Xpulse 200.

Design, Features & Hardware

The all-new CB200X offers cutting-edge technology and an awe-inspiring design to give a good performance.

Most of Honda CB200X’s design cues are inspired by the CX-02 Concept revealed earlier in India.

The new Honda CB200X comes with Hornet 2.0 like V-shaped LED headlamp and a black windscreen, a front-heavy faired body, a wider handlebar, engine protector and knuckle guards which housed turn indicators.

The bike also gets LED lamps at the tail section and gets split-style seats and pillion grab rails.

The urban explorer gets an all-digital instrument cluster which has RoadSync tech for smartphone connectivity and navigation as well via Bluetooth headphones.

Apart from this, the motorcycle features the same golden-coloured front forks which was also seen in Hornet 2.0.

Other features of the bike include a single-channel ABS, high ground clearance, high saddle height and a long-travel suspension.

The bike also has upside-down suspended forks at front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at rear. And the disc brakes on both wheels manages the braking duties.

Engine Specs

CB200X gets same 184.4cc PGM-Fi air-cooled single-cylinder engine offered in Hornet 2.0. This motor can generate 17 bhp of power at 8500rpm and 16.1 Nm of peak torque at 6000rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

PGM-Fi system uses onboard sensors constantly to inject optimum fuel and air mixture to provide greater performance and superior efficiency.

Th wire-spoked 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels are shod by knobby dual-purpose tyres for more grip during off-road riding.
