Hero Xpulse 210 vs Hero Xpulse 200 4V: Which adventure motorcycle should you buy?
The major part of the difference that is present between Hero Xpulse 210 and Hero Xpulse 200 4V is the engine.
Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new Xpulse 210 in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. If you are planning to purchase an adventure motorcycle from Hero, you now have two options. You can either opt for Hero Xpulse 210 or the older Hero Xpulse 200 4V. Well, if you are opting for a Hero Xpulse 210, you have to visit the Hero Premia dealership. The Hero Xpulse 200 4V is available in the existing showrooms.
We have pointed out some major differences in both the motorcycles which will help you to make a choice.
Engine and output
The major part of the difference that is present between Hero Xpulse 210 and Hero Xpulse 200 4V is the engine. The Xpulse 210 is powered by a 210cc engine that offers 24.2 bhp@9250 rpm of maximum power and peak torque of 20.7 Nm@ 7250rpm. The gearbox in the motorcycle is 6-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the Xpulse 200 is powered by a 199cc engine that offers 18.9 bhp@ 8500 rpm of maximum power and peak torque of 17.3 Nm@6500 rpm. The gearbox is 5-speed gearbox. The cooling system on the Xpulse 210 is liquid cooled while that of the Xpulse 200 is oil cooled. The Xpulse 210 gets ‘Assist and Slipper Clutch’ while the Xpulse 200 gets ‘Wet Multiplate Clutch’. The emission standard on both the motorcycles is BS6 Phase 2.
Dimensions and Hardware
In terms of dimensions, the Hero Xpulse 210 has an overall length of 2254mm while the wheelbase is 1446mm. The seat height is 830mm while the ground clearance is 220mm. On the other hand, the Hero Xpulse 200 has an overall length of 2222mm while the wheelbase is 1410mm. The seat height is 825mm while the ground clearance is 220mm. The kerb weight of Xpulse 210 is 168kg while that of Xpulse 200 is 159kg.
If we are looking into suspension setup on both the bikes, the front suspension is telescopic while the rear is monoshock. The front suspension travel in Xpulse 210 is 210mm while rear suspension travel is 205mm. Speaking about Xpulse 200, the front suspension travel is 190mm while rear suspension travel is 170mm. The wheel and brake size remains the same on both the motorcycles. The front tyre size is 90/90 – 21 while the rear tyre size is 120/80 – 18. Both the bikes get tube tyres. We do expect a tubeless tyre version on the Hero Xpulse 210 in the future.
Instrument cluster on both the motorcycles remain the same. Users get digital instrument console that gets digital odometer, speedometer, hazard warning indicator, call/SMS alerts, gear indicator, low fuel indicator, service reminder indicator and much more. Users get mobile phone connectivity along with GPS and navigation, USB charging port and more on the motorcycles.
Price and colours
The colour options available on the Hero Xpulse 200 are Polestar Blue, Black Sports Red, Metallic Nexus Blue, Met Nexus Blue While, Techno Blue Met Black and Sports Red. On the other hand, the Hero Xpulse 210 is offered in Glacier White and Wild Red.
The Hero Xpulse 210 costs Rs 1,75,800 for the base variant and Rs 1,85,800 for the Pro variant. On the other hand, the Xpulse 200 costs Rs 1,51,500 for the base variant and Rs 1,64,500 for the Pro variant. The Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar costs Rs 1,67,500.

The riders should opt for either of the two motorcycles depending on their need and skills. Budget is also an important parameter on which choice can be made. If you are beginner level rider with tight budget, it is advisable to stick with the Xpulse 200. However, if you can spread your budget for a better adventure motorcycle, feel free to opt for the Xpulse 210.
