Hero MotoCorp To Resume Operations Across All Plants In India From May 24
Two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp will resume its operations in all manufacturing units across India from May 24.
The company had halted its operations across the country due to significant rise in Covid-19 cases across the country. As the daily Covid-19 cases in the country are on a declining trend, the company has made the decision.
It is noteworthy to mention that Hero MotoCorp has restarted operations in three of its plants in Haryana and Uttarakhand from May 17.
The manufacturing units will function in a single shift from May 24 and gradually progress towards increasing production to double-shift. Around 90 per cent of the total employees above 45 years have been vaccinated, said the company.
The company has further stated that it will ensure full safety of its staff after the production process resumes again.
