Bhubaneswar: The gold price today in Bhubaneswar for 22 carat has increased by Rs 550 per 10g while the rate of 24 carat has decreased by Rs 530 per 10g.
As on Friday, October 15 (Vijaya Dashami), the price of 22 carat gold/ 10 grams is recorded at Rs 44,700 while 24 carat gold/ 10 grams cost Rs 49, 120.
Yesterday, the price of 22 carat gold/ 10 grams is recorded at Rs 44,150 while 24 carat gold/ 10 grams cost Rs 49, 650.
On the other hand, the silver price has increased by Rs 1100/ kg on October 14 as compared to Thursday in Bhubaneswar. Silver is currently priced at Rs 63,200/ kg in the city.
As Vijaya Dashami is an auspicious day, it is expected that the Jewelry stores might witness a hike in business as compared to the usual work days.
