Gold price in India takes a massive fall for 24 carat and 22 carat today

As on 16 February (Thursday), 24 carat gold (10 grams) cost Rs 56,480 while 22 carat (10 grams) costs Rs 51,730.

Major cities in India registered fluctuation for gold prices. Gold price today in Chennai for 24 carat (10 grams) is Rs 52,285 while the 22 carat (10 grams) is Rs 47,927.

In national capital Delhi, the Gold rate for 24 carat (10 grams) is Rs 57,310 while 22 carat (10 grams) is Rs 52,550. The rate of Gold for 24 carat (10 grams) in Kolkata is Rs 57,160 while 22 carat (10 grams) is Rs 52,400. On the other hand, price of 24 carat gold (10 grams) in Mumbai is Rs 57,160 while 22 carat gold (10 grams) is Rs 52,400.

As in Bhubaneswar, the 24 carat gold (10 grams) cost Rs 57,160 while 22 carat gold (10 grams) cost Rs 52,400 today. The rates have declined by Rs 80 in the last 24 hours.

    It is unfortunate that Gold price increased to high levels i.e. 43000(22Ct) last year to 54000(22Ct) recently and reduced to 52000( 22Ct) and claiming gold rates dropped. Please observe this. If nobody buy gold for certain time again then demand will reduce then rates will fall down. Please stop to buy gold upto it’s reduction of rate to below 45000(22Ct)

    Unfortunately, in India, even the poorest buy gold on special occasions like marriages, auspicious days, etc. It’s a tradition and hard to resist.
