Gold price in India drops for 3rd consecutive day for 24 carat, 22 carat on January 6

Bhubaneswar: The price of gold in India has dropped for the 3rd consecutive day in the last 24 hours. On January 6, 2024, 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 62,540, while 22 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 57,290. The rate of gold in India has dropped by Rs 230 and Rs 210 for 24 carat and 22 carat gold, respectively.

Coming to Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar, the rate of gold has remained constant in the last 24 hours. On January 6, 2024, 24 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 63,820, while 22 carat gold costs Rs 58,500.

Changes were also recorded in gold price in major cities of India. They are as follows:

  • Delhi: Rs 63,970 for 24 carat gold (10 grams) and Rs 58,650 for 22 carat gold (10 grams).
  • Mumbai: 24 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 63,820, while 22 carat gold costs Rs 58,500.
  • Kolkata: 24 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 63,820, while 22 carat gold costs Rs 58,500.
  • Chennai: Rs 52,285 for 24 carat gold (10 grams), Rs 47,927 for 22 carat gold (10 grams).

Silver price today: On January 6, 2024, silver has been  priced at Rs 71,600 per kilogram. The rate of silver in India has dropped by Rs 200 in the last 24 hours.
