Gold price drops Rs 301, silver tumbles Rs 906

New Delhi: Gold prices dropped 301 rupees, to 38,870 rupees per ten grams at the bullion market in the National Capital city on Wednesday, on the subdued global trend.

Silver prices also tumbled 906 rupees, to 46,509 rupees per kg from Rs 47,415 per kg in the previous trade.

Yesterday, gold had closed at Rs 39,171 per 10 gram.

In the international market, gold traded almost flat at 1,486 dollars an ounce. Silver was quoting flat at 17.54 dollars per ounce.
