New Delhi: Go First Airlines announced on Saturday that all its flights would be cancelled until May 30, citing operational reasons. The domestic airline had filed for involuntary insolvency on May 2 and announced the suspension of its flights, initially for two days.

The airlines also said a full refund will be issued to the original mode of payment shortly.

In a Twitter post, the airline said, “We regret to inform you that due to operational reasons, Go First flights scheduled until May 30, 2023, have been cancelled. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the flight cancellations.”

The carrier also said the company has filed an application for immediate resolution and revival of operations. It mentioned that it would be able to resume bookings shortly.

First has submitted their response to a show cause notice, issued on May 8, wherein they have requested that they be allowed to use the moratorium period to prepare a comprehensive restructuring plan for restarting operations and present the same to the DGCA for the requisite regulatory approvals before restarting operations.

DGCA advised the airline to submit a comprehensive restructuring and revival plan within 30 days for a sustainable revival of operations on Wednesday.
