Check out petrol and diesel price today in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The petrol and diesel prices have remained the same in the capital city Bhubaneswar on Saturday. The petrol price has been recorded at Rs 103.63 per litre while the diesel rate has been recorded at Rs 95.18 per litre today. Earlier on Friday, the petrol and diesel rate was recorded at the same price.

The petrol and diesel rates in Odisha’s silver city Cuttack have also remained the same in the last 24 hours and are recorded at Rs 103.37 and Rs 94.93 respectively. The petrol rate in Odisha’s Malkangiri is recorded at Rs 109.20 per litre while the diesel rate is at Rs 100.56 per litre.

Meanwhile, the petrol prices in major cities of India like Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai have been recorded at Rs 102.63, Rs 106.03, and Rs 111.35 respectively. The diesel price, on the other hand, is recorded at Rs 94.33 in Chennai, Rs 92.76 in Kolkata, and in Mumbai, the rates are at Rs 97.28. Likewise, in Delhi, the petrol rate has been recorded at Rs 96.72 per litre while the diesel cost was recorded at Rs 89.62 per litre.

It is pertinent to mention that with the latest revision in the prices, the oil marketing companies have now increased the security deposit for new domestic LPG connections by Rs 750 starting from June 16. The new price stands at Rs 2,200 per connection.

While earlier the price stood at Rs 1450 for each new connection, the customers now will have to make a security deposit of Rs 4,400 for taking two cylinders while taking a new connection.

The customers will have to pay an additional charge of Rs 1500 if taking two cylinders, weighing 14.2 kg each. Adding to it, the customers will be required to pay a sum of Rs 250, earlier 150, to get a regulator.
