BSNL announces new plans for post-paid customers

New Delhi: State-owned telecommunication company BSNL has launched a new plan for its post-paid customers. The plan comes with both data and voice benefits and comes with a validity of 30 days. This plan is being termed as competition to Jio and Airtel.

The plan also offers a complimentary Amazon Prime membership for the subscribers.

BSNL is offering 120 GB of data for 30 days. It is important to note here that the data is limited to 2G and 3G since BSNL hasn’t yet jumped into the 4G segment. The state-owned company is still under-trials for 4G network in several parts of the country.

As for calls, subscribers will be able to make unlimited STD and local calls. And as far as messages are concerned BSNL is offering a maximum of 100 SMSes a day, complying to TRAI’s guidelines.

Additionally, BSNL is offering a free subscription of Amazon Prime membership. The benefits of the plan include access to sales and streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Prime Music.

The plan, is right now available only in Karnataka circle, but will soon be rolled out for other circles too.
