BSA Gold Star 650 Revealed ahead of its launch, Check Specifications of the bike

Classic legends, the company which had earlier revived the Jawa motorcycles in India, are now working to revive Yezdi and BSA. Recently, the BSA motorcycles have revealed the new Gold Star 650 at an event in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

The new Gold Star 650 is powered by a powerful 652cc single-cylinder engine. The 652cc engine churns out a maximum power of 45bhp at 6000rpm and a peak torque of 4000rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and gets a large radiator and cooling fins. The frame of the new Gold Star 650 is tubular steel, dual cradle type. In terms of braking, the bike is handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 255mm disc at the rear. The wheels are 18 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear. The fuel tank of the bike is 12 liters while the kerb weight is 213kgs.

In terms of features, the BSA Gold Star 650 offers a twin-pod analog speedometer and tachometer. In terms of exterior, the Gold Star 650 has massive presence of chrome across the body. The shape of the fuel tank is teardrop, and provides a great visual appeal. In terms of cooling, the bike gets an air-cooled unit.

Some of the key features of the bike include Dual-channel ABS (Continental) A&S (Assist & Slipper) and clutch engine immobilizer. There is a presence of a 12V USB charging socket that is mounted on the handlebar.

The BSA Gold Star 650 will be initially launched in United Kingdom and is expected to be launched in other markets very soon. We can expect that the BSA Gold Star 650 will be launched in India in few years. Upon its launch in India, we expect that it will give a strong competition to Royal Enfield.
