Battery warranty increased to 15 years for Tata Curvv EV and Nexon EV 45
Tata Motors has now increased the standard warranty on Tata Nexon EV 45 and Tata Curvv EV battery packs to 15 years.
Tata Motors is strengthening its hold in the electric car segment in India. The company has now increased the standard warranty on Tata Nexon EV 45 and Tata Curvv EV battery packs. The company now offers 15 years/ unlimited kilometre warranty as a standard option. Tata calls this warranty as ‘lifetime’ warranty.
Earlier the warranty was available for 8-year/1.6 lakh km. Now the battery is covered with twice long warranty. However, the warranty is available to the first owner of the models.

The lifetime HV Battery Warranty was first introduced with the Harrier.ev and it received widespread appreciation from consumers nationawide. The company has extended this offering to two of its most popular SUVs.
