The list of cars that are expected to launch in India are mentioned below.

Toyota Glanza

The Toyota Glanza is the rebadged Maruti Suzuki Baleno. As the Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets a new update, it is now time for Toyota Glanza to get an update. The new Toyota Glanza will be launching in March 2022 with a bunch of upgrades. The updates both on the interior and exterior will be more similar to that of updated Maruti Suzuki Baleno. It is expected that under the hood, Toyota Glanza will get a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder Dualjet K12N petrol engine. The engine is expected to be availed in 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox. We expect the Toyota Glanza to cost between Rs 7.8 lakh to Rs 9.8 lakh.

MG ZS EV facelift

MG Motor is all set to introduce the 2022 MG ZS EV facelift very soon in India. The new electric car by the company will launch on March 7, 2022.  We expect that the upcoming car will have the same features as that of the MG ZS EV that was launched in the international market last year. The 2022 MG ZS EV facelift will be rolling out from the company’s manufacturing facility in Halol in Gujarat.

The 2022 MG ZS EV will be powered by a 51kWh battery pack which will be able to deliver a driving range of more than 450 kilometres on a single charge. The current model of MG ZS EV produces a power of 141 hp and a peak torque of 353 Nm. The MG ZS EV is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). In terms of price, the 2022 MG ZS EV facelift is very likely to get a price tag of Rs 22 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.

Volkswagen Virtus

The Volkswagen Virtus is expected to launch in March 8 and the company has teased about it earlier.  For those who are unaware, the Volkswagen Virtus will be the replacement of Volkswagen Vento. It is expected that the new Volkswagen sedan will share interior and features of the recently launched Taigun SUV. The Virtus will be based on the MQB AO-IN platform like the Skoda Slavia.

Toyota Hilux

Toyota India has revealed the India specific model of Hilux pickup truck. The Toyota Hilux will launch in India this month and the deliveries are expected to start within a month. The bookings of the vehicle have already been opened by the company (Toyota). Interested buyers can book the Toyota Hilux at Rs 50,000.

The upcoming Toyota Hilux is powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine that is previously seen in the Fortuner Legender. The engine churns out maximum power of 204 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. Considering the current automobile market, the Toyota Hilux pickup truck is expected to cost between Rs 25 lakh- Rs 35 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

The Maruti Ertiga is expected to receive an update and the test vehicles have been spotted numerous times by auto enthusiasts. The car will have a new 6-speed AT gearbox along with a new 5-speed manual gearbox. In terms engine, the car is expected to get a 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine which features a DualJet technology.
