In the backyard of an engineer, Bilal Ahmed, based in Kashmir, a solar car was built!
According to the creator, Srinagar lecturer Bilal Ahmed, fuel prices will rise over the next ten years as reported in the press.
Ahmed tried to integrate as many panels as he could in the car’s architecture to maximize energy storage, as can be seen by looking at it. Solar panels are installed on the vehicle’s back glass, three windows, and bonnet.
Ahmed claimed that despite his intention to create an automobile for the disabled, “financial restrictions” made it difficult.
The future of transportation relies on alternative fuels, therefore Ahmed made an effort to build a four-seat solar-powered hatchback.
Bilal told the following to the news agency ANI: “Wanted to make a car for the disabled but financial constraints made it difficult. The idea of a solar car intrigued me…it’s free energy… and recently I also read in newspapers that petrol prices are expected to rise in 10 years,” he says.
