Royal Enfield Scram 411 expected to launch in March, Arrives at dealership

Royal Enfield is all set to launch its upcoming new bike based on the Himalayan- Royal Enfield Scram 411 in India very soon. The Scram 411 will be a road friendly version of the Royal Enfield Himalayan and is expected to be the scrambler. The company teased about the latest launch through a slow-mo video of the motorcycle.

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 will be launched in the third week or second week of March 2022.

In terms of style, the new Royal Enfield Scram 411 is likely to be equipped with a single-seat along with a body-colored cast metal headlamp cowl, speedometer and tripper navigation functioning. The headlight of the Scram 411 is round in shape, while the side indicators get a refreshed design. The name of the brand is present on the badge plate on the fuel tank. The wheels of the Royal Enfield will be 19-inches at the front and 17-inches at the back. There wheels will have spokes rather than having alloy. The motorcycle has telescopic suspension at the front while a mono-shock suspension is present at the rear of the motorcycle. The motorcycle is expected to come in colors of Red and White as well as Red and Black.

The engine of the Royal Enfield Scram will be the same as that of the Himalayan. For those who do not know about the engine of Himalayan, it is equipped with a 411cc single-cylinder engine, that generates a maximum power of 24.3 hp and a peak torque of 32 Nm. The 411cc engine will be mated with a 5-speed transmission. However, the tuning of the engine will be made to suit the fir requirement of the scrambler.

The motorcycle is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India) when it hits the Indian market. In India, the Scream 411 will compete with the likes of Honda CB350RS, Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Yezdi Scrambler.
