Royal Enfield Hunter 350 to cost less than Rs 1.4 lakh, to be the cheapest bike of the company

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is the upcoming motorcycle that is scheduled for launch (by the company) in India in 2022. The bike will not only offer a unique style but also is expected to cost less than the Bullet 350. This roughly means that the bike can be the cheapest model offered by the company in India. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is expected to launch in two variants and will be built on J-platform.

When it comes to the engine, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 offers a 349cc engine that is present on the Classic 350 and the Meteor 350. The power and torque figures of the bike is expected to be around 20hp and 27 Nm respectively. However, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be a more street-based bike rather than a cruiser. If reports are to be believed the bike will cost between Rs 1.3 lakh and Rs 1.4 lakh ex-showroom in India.

When it comes to design, the Hunter 350 will have a round headlight and tail light, a single-seat, two grab rails, a teardrop tank, alloy wheels, etc. The features of the bike include a semi-digital instrument console, tripper navigation, broad rear fender, etc. In terms of suspension, the bike will have a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.

The base variant of the Hunter 350 will be offered with a single disc brake at the front (like the Bullet 350). The other variant will have two disc brakes (front and rear). Both the variants will be offered with ABS for safety reasons. The front disc brake will be 300mm while the rear brake of the bike will be 270mm. However, on the base variant, there will be a 153mm drum brake at the rear.
