Poise NX-120 and Grace electric scooter with swappable battery launched in India

Poise Scooters has launched two new electric scooters in India named–NX-120 and Grace. the e-scooters were unveiled at the Sheraton Grand in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, said the company. The new Poise electric scooter comes with removable battery.

Poise NX-120 and Grace Price, features

The Poise NX-120 price in India is set at Rs 1,24,000 (ex-showroom, Karnataka) and the Poise Grace is priced at Rs 1,04,000 lakh (ex-showroom, Karnataka). The e-scooters will be available in five colour options.

Both the models come with removable battery is available in them. That means, users can easily easily remove a battery and swap it with a charged battery. These batteries can be charged at house by using a 220-volt power socket.

Range and Speed

According to the company, the Poise Grace and NX-120 scooters are powered by the latest NMC (Nickel, Manganese and Cobalt) based Li-ion battery. It is claimed that the Poise electric scooters can provide a range of 110 km to 140 km per full charge and can have a top speed of 55 kmph. The battery powers an electric motor.

Apart from this, the company is working on a Zuink high-speed scooter, which is expected to have a top speed of 90 kmph. This could be launched soon.

The new e-scooters features include Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging points, tubeless tyres, front and rear combi-brake systems, and more legroom for added comfort. Two adults can ride the scooter comfortably.

These scooters are being manufactured at the company’s Yeshwantpur plant in Bangalore. The plant is capable of producing 30,000 vehicles in the first year and 100,000 vehicles in the second year, said the EV maker.

Vittal Bellandor, Managing Director, Nisiki Technologies, said, “Our goal is to strike a balance between technological breakthroughs, cost, accessibility and sustainability. We expect to be a big part of the EV revolution and contribute to the cleaner India by offering technologically advanced features, ease of mobility, and affordable ownership.”

The company has reportedly partnered with swapping stations and P2P charging partners to provide charging point facilities to users.
