New Royal Enfield Hunter 350cc may launch in June 2022

Popular two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield is reportedly planning to launch a new Hunter 350cc soon. The Hunter 350 is likely to be launched at the end of June 2022, said a report.

The Royal Enfield 350cc segment has three models including the Classic 350, Meteor and Bullet. The 350cc range bikes are popular for their retro styling and strong street presence.

Though these bikes are popular,this segment have started receiving new addition with Honda CB350 RS and Yezdi Scrambler. So, Royal Enfield need to bring something new for this segment and it is speculated to be the Hunter 350.

New Royal Enfield Hunter 350cc features

As per reports, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has been designed for city streets. As compared to other 350cc bikes, Hunter largely has a retro naked roadster profile with a dash of scrambler flavour.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is expected to come with round headlamp, rounded fuel tank, circular rear view mirrors, single piece seat, compact exhaust and short tail section. It will sport a wide handlebar and scooped-up seat to provide a comfortable ride stance. Footpegs appear to be slightly rear set, which can come handy for a more committed stance. The Hunter 350 is likely to be launched at the end of June 2022.

The test mules of the upcoming two-wheeler were spotted with both wire-spoke wheels as well as alloy wheels. So, buyers can get it as per their needs and preferences. Royal Enfield could also offer it with a Grab rail options as test mules have been spotted with single grab rail as well as split grab rails. As compared to other 350cc bikes, Hunter has rectangular rear turn indicators.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350cc engine and specs

The Hunter 350 is expected to be powered by the new-gen engine and platform that were also used in Meteor 350 and new-gen Classic 350 as well. The new 350cc engine produces 20.2 bhp of max power and 27 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Hunter can be expected to be lighter, which will improve its power to weight ratio. There will be conventional telescopic forks at front, dual rear shock absorbers and disc brakes at both ends, integrated with dual-channel ABS as standard.

Price (Expected)

In terms of pricing, Hunter is likely to be more affordable than Classic 350. As this is a new product, Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will likely have a starting price of around Rs 1.70 lakh.
