The MG E230 electric car will be developed based on the SAIC-GM-Wuling’s Global Small Electric Vehicle (GSEV) platform that’s known for its compact size and ease of usage. This same architecture has also been also used on vehicles like the Baojun E100, E200, E300 and E300 Plus, as well as the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV in the Chinese market.

It supports many smart features including advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), Internet of vehicle (IOV), automatic parking, voice commands and more. In addition, the GSEV batteries are IP68 rated that makes them waterproof. The batteries get boosted with Smart Battery Management system.
