BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition launched in India, Know engine specifications, price and other features

German automobile manufacturer BMW has launched the Silver Shadow Edition of the BMW X4. The BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition is priced at Rs 71.90 lakh and goes up to Rs 73.90 lakh in India. Apparently, the X4 Silver Shadow Edition is Rs 1.40 lakh dearer than the X4 Black Shadow Edition. BMW had launched the X4 facelift in India last month. The BMW X4 Black Shadow Edition costs between Rs 70.50 lakh and Rs 72.50 lakh.

Engine

The 2022 BMW X4 xDrive 30i is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that churns out a power of 252hp and a maximum torque of 350Nm. There is also a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine (xDrive 30d) that produces a power of 265hp and 620Nm. Both the 2.0 litre and 3.0-litre engines are paired with 8-speed automatic gearbox. The all-wheel-drive system by BMW is offered as a standard in both variants of the coupe. In terms of fuel efficiency, the xDrive 30i gets a mileage of 12.81 km/l while the xDrive 30d offers fuel efficiency of 14.23 km/l.

Design and cockpit

The BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition gets an angular kidney grille, redesigned bumper with mesh inserts at the front. The front headlights are fully LED and are lowered by 10 mm. At the rear the rear lights are LED. The Coupe also gets underbody protection which is located between the tail lamps and M performance exterior mirror cap in carbon fiber. The BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition gets 20’’ M light-alloy wheels.

The cockpit of the BMW Coupe gets two-high quality displays. The instrument cluster is a 12.3’’ while the control display is also 12.3’’ and can be operated by touch. The seats at the front (for driver and front passenger) get manual adjustment options including fore and aft position, backrest and seat angle. The coupe gets a Leather ‘Vernasca’ Mocha decor stitching. Users get a BMW intelligent personal assistant as well as a parking assistant professional for their convenience.

Colours

The car is offered in three colours- Alpine White, Plytonic Blue and Carbon Black.

Competitors

The 2022 BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition will compete with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe in the Indian market.
