Aito M7 electric SUV with up to 195 km range launched, Know price and features

Huawei-backed electric vehicle maker Aito has launched a new electric SUV called the ‘Aito M7’ in China. This is the second electric car in the company’s portfolio. The latest M7 electric SUV is claimed to deliver up to a range of 195 km on a single charge and can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.8 seconds. Earlier, the EV maker had introduced the M5 electric car in China.

Aito M7 electric SUV Price

According to reports, the Aito M7 are launched with a starting price of RMB 3,20,000 (around Rs 37.90 lakh). It reportedly comes in three variants. The most expensive model has been launched at RMB 3,79,800 (around Rs 45 lakh). The deliveries of the electric vehicle are expected to commence in early August. The Aito M7 EV is currently available for bookings, while the test drive will reportedly start from July 23. Huawei and Seres jointly formed the brand. Huawei designed and is driving the marketing of the M7 while Seres manufactures it.

Aito M7 electric SUV specifications

The rear-wheel-drive model of the EV has a 1.5T range extender with 90W power and 200kW electric motor. The four-wheel-drive model packs a 130kW front motor. The highlight of the four-wheel-drive model is that the car can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds.

The rear-wheel-drive model’s battery pack can deliver a range of 195 km as compared to the 165 km of the four-wheel-drive model. The rear-wheel model offers a range of 1,220 km on full fuel and full charge. Meanwhile, the four-wheel-drive model offers a range of 1,100 km.

The new SUV comes with Smart Cockpit Driving Experience and runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS. According to the company, users can access their smartphone apps directly from the center screen of the cockpit. There are six exterior and four internal color combinations available for the new Huawei-Seres Aito model.

There is no information on whether the new SUV will be subsequently available in other markets yet.
