2022 Toyota Glanza launching tomorrow; Check expected price and features

The 2022 Toyota Glanza facelift will be arriving in the market tomorrow. The booking for the Toyota Glanza facelift has already started. Toyota has been teasing the facelifted Glanza multiple times ahead of its launch. The Toyota Glanza has been updated following the arrival of the new Maruti Baleno, the hatchback upon which it is based.

2022 Toyota Glanza Features 

The facelifted Glanza will come with a new front fascia design with a different grille, bumper and tweaked headlights with their own light signature. The company has not revealed the rear design of the new car yet. Toyota Glanza 2022 has got new alloy wheels that is different from the Baleno.

The interior of the facelifted Glanza will be almost same as the 2022 Baleno. However, the cabin will have a black and beige colour theme instead of the blue and black seen in the Baleno.

It will also feature a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and the central AC vents has been placed below it. The upcoming car has also got a new flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel. Except this the the Glanza’s dashboard layout is exactly the same as the Baleno.

The other features of the new car includes an Arkamys tuned sound system, head-up display, 360-degree camera, connected car tech (telematics only), up to six airbags, and electronic stability control, cruise control, automatic climate control, auto-LED headlights, and keyless entry with push-button start.

Toyota is said to offer the facelifted Glanza in four variants such as E, G, S and V. The new Glanza will be powered by the same 90PS 1.2-litre petrol engine as the Baleno with a 5-speed manual and a optional 5-speed AMT. It will also get the idle stop-start as standard to improve fuel efficiency. The new car will not be coming in the mild-hybrid tech and the CVT automatic.

2022 Toyota Glanza Expected price

The Toyota Glanza is expected to be cost a little more than the Baleno. As we have already said the bookings for the new Glanza are already underway. It is likely to be priced from Rs 6.5 lakh to Rs 9.7 lakh (ex-showroom). The Glanza will compete against the likes of the Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz and Tata Altroz.
