2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza launched in India along with a bunch of new features

Maruti Suzuki has finally introduced the new version of the Brezza in India. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza finally omits the term ‘Vitara’ from its name. The sub-4m SUV by Maruti is also the first car offered by the company to have a sunroof in it. The prices of the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza start at Rs 7.99 lakh for Manual Transmission (MT) and Rs 10.97 lakh for Automatic Transmission (AT).

Design

The new Brezza gets a more muscular design as compared to the outgoing model. It gets a refreshed grille along with sleek LED headlights. The LED DRLs at the front are in L shape while the back lights get a wrap-around LED design. The SUV also has a wider body cladding. The alloy wheels are dual-toned and 16 inches in diameter.

Features

When it comes to interior of the car it gets a bunch of features like a 9-inch smartplay touchscreen infotainment system along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The other important features are Arkamys sound system, automatic climate control, wireless charging, head-up display, cruise control, electric sunroof and much more.

Engine

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza gets a new generation engine as compared to its predecessor. The new 1.5 litre K-Series mild-hybrid petrol engine is the same as that of the new Ertiga. The engine generates a power of 103 PS and a torque of 137Nm. When it comes to engine transmission, the new Brezza is powered by a 5-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.

Safety

In terms of safety, the SUV offers 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill-hold assist, 360-degree camera, and ISOFIX.
