2022 KTM 390 Adventure launched in India along with some crucial updates

The new KTM 390 Adventure has been launched in India along with some important updates. The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure gets some crucial updates that will enhance the riding capabilities of the bike. Similarly, the adventure bike gets a new paint scheme as well. The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure can be purchased at a price of Rs 3.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).  The booking of the bike has already started across the KTM dealerships across the country.

What’s new on the bike

2022 KTM 390 Adventure gets two new riding modes which were previously unavailable on the bike. The new modes are Street and Off-road. The modes offer various level of traction with respect to the riding condition. The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure gets two new colour options which include KTM Factory Racing Blue and Dark Galvano Black scheme. The new colour schemes are inspired from the KTM Adventure 890.

The new 390 adventure also gets wide side panels and new tank shrouds. KTM has claimed that the changes to the design of the fuel tank offer more convenience to the riders.

Engine and features

The 390 Adventure gets the same 373cc 4-valve single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is present in the previous model. The engine generates 43.5 PS of maximum power and peak torque of 37 Nm. The 373cc engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. At the front, the bike gets a 320mm disc brake while the rear has a 280mm disc brake.

The bike also gets lean-sensitive ABS, a 14.5-litre fuel tank, a full-colour TFT screen along with Bluetooth connectivity.  The tank range of the bike is around 400km.  The other important features of the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure include split headlamp and split seats, adjustable windscreen, 12V charging port, visor, LED lights etc.

The KTM 390 Adventure is meant for those who want a motorcycle for off-roading activities along with regular city rides. KTM also offers a 250 Adventure which will cater to the needs of users who prefer a 250cc bike.  Recently in April 2022, Suzuki had introduced the V-Strom SX in India which will cater to the needs of riders who are into off-roading and need a bike under 250cc.
