2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 all set to launch tomorrow in India, Know specifications and price

Kawasaki Motors is all set to launch the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 in India tomorrow. The updated version of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 will get a BS6-compliant engine and will be almost the same as its predecessor. The new motorcycle will be priced similar to or a bit more than its BS4 model. We expect the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 to cost under Rs 5 lakh, ex-showroom.

The 2022 model of Kawasaki Ninja 400 (Euro-5) was launched recently in the European market. Soon after its global launch, the BS6 Ninja 400 is introduced in the Indian market. The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 will launch on 24 June at 08:00 PM. The BS4 model of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 was sold in the Indian market till 2019 end. The BS6 Ninja 400 makes an entry into the Indian market after a period of 2.5 years.

Engine

The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 derives its power from a 399cc parallel-twin, a liquid-cooled, 6-speed engine that is compliant with BS6 norms. The 399cc engine produces a peak power of 44bhp and maximum torque of 37Nm. The power of the engine remains the same. However, the torque of the engine reduces by 1Nm (against the BS4 model).

Design

2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 gets its design from Ninja H2 along with twin-pod headlight. The side indicators are integrated in the fairing of the motorcycle. The fuel tank is 14 liters in capacity and has a muscular design. The seat style is split while the exhaust has a dual-tone finish on it.

Colours

The motorcycle will be offered in two paint schemes- Lime Green with Ebony (KRT Edition) and Carbon Gray with Metallic Carbon Gray.

Competitors

The KTM RC 390 and the TVS Apache RR 310 are the nearest rivals of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 in India. Even though, the Ninja 400 is way pricier than its single cylinder rivals, it provides a great value for money.
