The 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift has launched in India today. The starting price of the Venue is from Rs 7.53 lakh. The new Venue offers a different look as compared to its predecessor and also offers some new features in the inside. However the engine of the new Hyundai Venue remains the same as that of its predecessor.

Engine

The 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift is offered in petrol as well as diesel engine options just like its predecessor. The petrol engine will be offered in two variants while the diesel engine will be offered in a single variant. The petrol engine will be a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine or a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The 1.0-litre petrol engine produces 120PS power while 1.2-litre petrol engine offers 83PS power. Similarly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine offers 100PS power.

When it comes to gearbox options, the car gets four combinations- 5 speed manual transmission, 6-speed manual transmission, 6-speed iMT and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Design

The design of the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift is very sporty in comparison to the current generation of the SUV. The front grille receives a major change in comparison to the current generation. The Front LED headlights and the DRLs are integrated. The bumper gets a refreshed design too. However, the sides of the SUV are more or less the same. The other changes in the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift are the LED lights at the rear and the alloy wheels.

Features

The cabin features on the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift include features like fresh upholstery and features Home to car (H2C) with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant. The other features include a digital driver display, wireless charging, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sunroof, ventilated front seats, paddle shifters, reclining seats for rear passengers and a reverse parking camera. Users get three riding modes on the new Venue- Eco, Normal, and Sport. These modes can be changed through a rotatory dial on the centre console.

 Price and colours

When it comes to the price, the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift starts at Rs 7.53 lakh and goes up to Rs 12.32 lakh. The SUV is available in six single tone colours (silver, grey, blue, black, white and red) a dual-tone colour (red and black).
