ATM charges as levied by top banks

All major public and private banks in India levy charges on customers for various uses of an ATM card. The banks provide only a certain number of transactions and services that are free.

The ATM charges depend on the type of action-  whether it belongs to the same bank where the customer’s account is located or some other bank – and nature of ATM – whether the ATM is located in a metropolitan or any other city in the country.

On top of this, all the banks also charge an annual maintenance fee on possession of an ATM.
