Airtel has announced that it will be offering free mobile internet as well as unlimited calling for its users in the Northeast region of India. If you are one of those users who are using Airtel, you are eligible for above-mentioned benefit. This development comes after the region came across excessive rainfall in places like Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur as well as Meghalaya.
The second largest telecom service provider of the country is now providing network support to its customers living in these areas. It is meant for those who have exhausted their recharge pack and are unable to recharge. This move by the company is an efficient step to make sure that nobody is disconnected from their loved ones.
In case you are a post-paid user, the telecom service provider has made it clear that the bill payment dates will be extended by 30 days. This has been done to ensure that there is uninterrupted access to the mobile services.
The company has also introduced Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) in Tripura.

These 30-day plans by Airtel were introduced by telecom service providers after telecom regulator’s order to include 30 days service validity plans. These plans are Rs 219, Rs 355 and Rs 589 plans.
