New Delhi: Ahead of the festive season, telecom giant Bharti Airtel has introduced another recharge plan of Rs. 181. The recharge offers comes with 3GB of 2G/ 3G/ 4G data per day and offers unlimited voice calls (local, STD, and roaming) and 100 SMS messages per day with a validity of 14 days. On aggregate, the plan gives users a total data benefits to 42GB; bringing the per GB cost down to about Rs. 4.3 – making it one of the cheapest packs in the market.
According to Telecom Talk, Airtel is also offering unlimited voice calls in this recharge without any daily or weekly limits. The offer seems to be available for subscribers in certain circles.
The Rs. 181 Airtel pack comes closest to the Rs. 198 Jio recharge pack that offers 2GB of 4G data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day besides a complimentary subscription to a plethora of services via Jio apps- valid for 28 days. Moreover, Vodafone’s 199 pack also offers unlimited calls, 100 SMS messages per day and 1.4GB of daily data for 28 days.
In late September, Bharti Airtel had launched its Rs. 195 recharge pack offering 1.25GB daily 2G/ 3G/ 4G data for 28 days besides unlimited voice calls. The pack, which offered no SMS benefits, is limited to a few telecom circles of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state.
