TVS Motors has updated the Apache RTR 200 4V with some subtle upgrades. The new 2022 Apache RTR 200 4V receives some updates in terms of its exterior. However there have been no such changes when it comes to the engine of the motorcycle. The RTR 200 4V remains the same from the core, and this does come as a surprise.

The new 2022 Apache RTR 200 4V is available in two models (single-channel ABS and double channel ABS). While the single-channel ABS version costs Rs 1, 33,840 (ex-showroom Delhi) the dual channel ABS version costs Rs 1,38,890 (ex-showroom Delhi). The changes in the motorcycle come in the form of new headlamps. With this new update the headlight of the new RTR 200 4V looks more similar to that of RTR 160 4V. Now the headlight consists of an integrated Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) design instead of a twin pods unit.

The motorcycle still uses a 197.75cc single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled engine couples with a five-speed gearbox. The engine produces maximum power of 20.54 bhp at 9000 rpm and a peak torque of 7800 rpm. The motorcycle retains the three riding modes that were available in predecessor. The three modes are sport, urban and rain. The Apache RTR 200 4V gets adjustable front forks along with a mono-shock suspension at the rear. Both the brakes are provided by Showa.

In terms of connectivity features the 2022 Apache RTR 200 4V gets TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity, and adjustable brakes and clutch levers. The bike is available in three colour options-namely Gloss Black, Pearl White and Matte Blue colours.

The Apache RTR 200 4V remains a good option for those who want to expect a thrill from the 200cc engine. The RTR 200 4V packs performance and technology in an affordable bracket, while makes it a perfect choice for many buyers in India.
