2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 R launched in India at a price tag of Rs 15.14 lakh, gets a more aggressive look

When it comes to 1000cc segment sports bike across the world, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R needs no introduction. Recently the Japanese manufacturer (Kawasaki) has launched the 2022 edition of Ninja ZX-10 R. This super bike has been priced at Rs 15.14 lakh (ex-showroom) and receives a price hike of Rs 15,000 over the previous model. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is now available in two new colour options- Lime Green and Metallic Diablo Black.

Talking about the looks of the Ninja ZX-10R, it becomes quite evident that the bike receives its new styling from the Ninja H2. The new design makes the Ninja look more aggressive than its predecessor. The aerodynamics of the bike is also improved by large air intake and winglets.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 R is powered by a 998cc, liquid-cooled, inline 4 engine that produces a power of 200bhp at 13,200 rpm. The torque offered by the bike is 114Nm at 11,400 rpm. It is equipped with a 6-speed transmission along with a quick-shifter. The Ninja ZX-10 R is offered with three power modes (Low, Middle and Full) along with integrated riding modes (Rain, Road, Sport and Rider).

Some of the other technical features available on the bike are cruise control, traction control, cornering management function, launch control, and ABS. Connectivity features include 4.3-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and other features. The headlamps are full-LED and give excellent visibility the riders.

The suspension of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is handled by Showa, while the Brembo brakes give excellent stopping power.

The motorcycle continues to offer some of the best features in a 1000cc segment and is considered a value for money bike.

On the other hand, the bike enthusiasts in India are eagerly waiting for the re-launch of Ninja 400. Even though the updated version of the Ninja 400 is available in the international markets, it is yet to arrive in India.
