2021 Mahindra Scorpio’s Render Surfaces Online; Shows Front, Side, Rear Design

Mahindra is reportedly working on launching the new generation Scorpio. Now a new rendering of the 2021 Mahindra Scorpio based on some spy pictures has surfaced online. The new rendering shows the possible design of its front, side and rear profiles.

The rendering has been done by SRK Designs for Indian Autos Block (IAB). The new renders shows how the SUV will look like when its launched.

As per the leaked images, the new 2021 Mahindra Scorpio features a twin-pod LED projector headlamps at the front. The car has 6-vertical slats finished in chrome at the front grille.

Below it carries a LED foglamps which are surrounded by a C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamp.

At the front, it also features wider bumpers, new air intakes.

The side body panels include simple body pattern, cladding, squared wheel arches with newly-designed alloy wheels. The roof includes rails for a stylish side appearance.

At the back, the new Mahindra Scorpio sports new vertically positioned LED tail lamps, side-hinged doors, a roof mounted stop lamp.

The new SUV will have a bigger and more spacious cabin. The SUV will carry the same underpin ladder-frame chassis that has been used in the new Thar.

The cabin of the new 2021 Mahindra Scorpio will see many changes. The SUV will have an entirely new dashboard along with a new touchscreen infotainment system.

The unit is expected to have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Its instrument cluster will be the same as the new Thar such as the gear knob, steering wheel and control stalks.

It’s material quality, fit and finish will also be revamped.

The 2021 Mahindra Scorpio will come with a new 2.0L turbocharged petrol and a 2.2L mHawk diesel engine.

The gasoline unit will deliver power close to 152bhp, the oil burner will deliver power up to 158bhp. Both manual (6-speed) and automatic (6-speed torque convertor) gearboxes will also be on offer. The new Scorpio will be launched with AWD (all-wheel-drive) system
