TVS Raider 125 bike affordable version with drum brakes launched at Rs 84,469

TVS India has launched a new variant of the Raider 125 bike at a more affordable price of Rs 84,469 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The affordable variant of the Raider 125 motorcycle comes with drum brakes at both ends. It is available in two colour schemes – Striking Red and Wicked Black.

The TVS Raider 125 Drum variant is positioned below the single-disc version. The top -spec SX trim of teh bike has a price tag of Rs 1,04,330. The TVS Raider 125 competes with models like Hero Extreme 125R, Bajaj Pulsar NS 125, Hero Splendor Xtec, Honda SP 125 in the Indian market.

Engine and features of TVS Raider 125

The TVS Raider 125 is available with a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 11.2 BHP at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It has two riding modes – Eco and Power.

The The motorcycle features the same styling as its more expensive version with a disc brake. It features LCD instrument cluster, drum brakes, single-seat, LED headlight with DRL, SSE (Super Squad Edition) and SX variants. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with telescopic front fork and a monoshock at the rear.

It has a fuel capacity of 10-liter and weighs 123 kg. The bike is sporty, affordable, and fuel-efficient.
