­­­­Toyota implements price hike across its range of cars, Check the new prices here

Toyota Kirloskar Motor had earlier (in March 2022) announced that its cars sold in India will receive a price hike. The company has now announced the amount by which each model gets costlier. It will be quite surprising to find out that the range of price hike starts from Rs 36,000 and goes up to Rs 1.75 lakh on various models of Toyota cars.

Toyota Fortuner, the most popular SUV of Toyota gets dearer by Rs 40,000 to Rs 1.20 lakh across various variants. This means that the starting model of the Fortuner now costs Rs 31.79 lakh instead of Rs 31.39 lakh. On the other hand the top model of the Toyota Fortuner (4×4 AT Legender) now costs Rs 44.63 lakh. Earlier the top model of the Toyota Fortuner has priced at Rs 43.43 lakh.

Another popular car from Toyota, Innova Crysta gets costlier by Rs 36,000 to Rs 56,000. This roughly means that the initial price of Innova Crysta is Rs 17.45 lakh. The top model of the Innova Crysta (ZX AT 7-seat) now costs Rs 25.68 lakh. Earlier the top model of the Toyota Innova Crysta has priced at Rs 25.32 lakh.

The highest price hike is received by Toyota Camry sedan. The hybrid sedan received a price hike of Rs 1.75 lakh. On the other hand, the Toyota Vellfire will be costlier by Rs 90,000. However, the prices of Toyota Glanza, Toyota Hilux and Toyota Urban Cruiser have remained the same. The Hilux has recently launched in India at Rs 33.99 lakh. On the other hand, the 2022 Toyota Glanza has priced between Rs 6.39 lakh and Rs 9.69 lakh.

The company (Toyota) increased the prices of its vehicles due to rising input costs in the automotive industry. Other car manufacturers in India including Kia and Maruti Suzuki have increased the prices of its cars in 2022.
