Tata Nexon, Tata Safari, Tata Harrier and Tata Punch to get Kaziranga Edition, Know details about the variants

Tata Motors has taken a great initiative for the conservation of Kaziranga National Park. The company has introduced special edition SUVs under the Kaziranga edition and those will be put for auction at IPL 2022. The funds that are generated from the auction of Kaziranga edition SUVs will be used for conservation activities in the park. The Kaziranga edition of Tata SUVs include cars like- Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari.

Tata motors have initially teased the Kaziranga edition of Tata Punch. However, later on, Tata motors has included Nexon, Safari and Harrier in the limited Kaziranga edition. The Kaziranga editions of all the Tata SUVs will have a cosmetic update and not any major internal update. The engine of the SUVs will be the same as in the regular models.

The Kaziranga editions of Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari will get a distinct bronze paint shade. It is expected that all the SUVs will get bronze accents in the interior as well. All the SUVs will be based on the top trims of the respective SUVs.

A glimpse of Tata Punch Kaziranga edition gives us a subtle hint about what to expect from other Kaziranga editions of SUVs. There is a presence of Rhino badging on the front fender, which makes it stand apart from the other variants. The dual-tone black and bronze treatment is present on the door pads and seat upholstery as well. We expect the same color treatment on the Nexon, Harrier and Safari. Speaking about the Kaziranga editions of Punch, it is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that offers 86hp of power. On the other hand, the Nexon will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that offers 120hp of power or 1.5-liter diesel engine that offers a power of 110hp. The Tata Harrier and Tata Safari derive their power from 2.0-litre diesel engine that offers 170hp power.

The Kaziranga edition of Tata Motors was recently teased by the company. Assuming that the IPL 2022 will be held in the coming months, we expect Tata to announce about the timeline of the launch of the cars. Tata Motors had earlier announced Dark and Gold editions of its SUVs. The Safari SUV is offered with Dark, Gold as well as Adventure Persona models.
