Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin to launch in India in January 2025, Know Specs

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin will be launched in India in January 2025 and if you are planning to get your hands on the motorcycle, you can visit the dealership accordingly. The Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin shares many parts from the Shotgun 650 and it is expected to be priced between Rs 3.60 lakh and Rs 3.90 lakh. The bike will be offered in four colour options.

Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin details

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin gets the same main frame, sub frame, swing arm and cycle parts as the Shotgun 650. However, there is a difference in front suspension setup, wheels as well as style elements.

The motorcycle is powered by the same 648cc, parallel-twin engine that generates 47hp at 7250 rpm and 52.3Nm of torque at 5650rpm. There is a 6 speed gearbox offered on the motorcycle and it does come with a slip-and-assist clutch. The Classic 650 Twin gets 19/18 inch wire-spoke wheels that gets 43mm telescopic fork. We get 120mm at the front and 90mm at the rear.

Weight of the motorcycle is 243kg and it is the heaviest in the Royal Enfield line-up. There is a 14.8 litre fuel tank on the bike and the seat height is 800mm. On the other hand, the ground clearance is 154mm. We get the same digital analogue display that is present on the Classic 350 on the Classic 650. This means that we will be getting the Tripper navigation pod as well as gear position indicator. There are adjustable brake and clutch levers too. Colour options include Vallam Red, Bruntingthorpe Blue, Teal and Black Chrome.

Pricing wise the motorcycle is expected to be slotted between the Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650. For those who are familiar with the brand’s 350cc line-up, the Classic 350 is placed between the Hunter 350 and Meteor 350.
