Mahindra XUV e8 spied again while testing, interiors might be similar to XUV700
Mahindra will be launching the XUV e8 electric SUV very soon in India and it will be just after the launch of BE.05. Recently, the Mahindra XUV.e8 was spotted while testing and it is expected to have a three screen setup on the dashboard. For those who are unknown, the XUV e8 electric SUV is based on the XUV700.
The XUV.e8 in its fully camouflaged avatar has been spotted while testing by Autocar India. The electric SUV is spotted with a three-screen setup and this is expected to be an extension of the dual-screen setup that is present on the XUV700. The additional screen is likely to be meant for the front passenger. The AC vents are likely to be present on both sides of the screen. The triple-screen setup is likely to offer three 12.3-inch units with a resolution of 1920×720. The software that runs on the display is Adrenox. The display gets Oleophobic (anti-smudge) coating as well as Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive (LOCA) bonding.
The electric SUV will have a two-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel along with an illuminated logo. Some of the controls in the cabin as well as the consoles are expected to be carried forward from the XUV700.
The profile of the XUV.e8 is expected to be similar to the XUV700. The dimensions of the SUV should include 4740mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1760mm in height. The wheelbase of the SUV is 2762mm. Compared to the XUV700; the XUV e8 will be a bit bigger in size. The company has previously mentioned that the XUV.e8 will be offering all-wheel-drive system along with a battery pack of up to 80kWh. When it comes to power output, the electric SUV is likely to offer maximum power between 230hp to 350hp.
