Mahindra has released a new image of the production-ready XEV 9e and the BE 6e, which revealed the striking looks of the electric cars ahead of their on November 26, 2024. The Indian automaker aims to make a bold impression in the electric car market with these products.
Mahindra first showcased the concept version of both the models in 2023. Since then they have been in the works. Now, we will get to see the production version of the Mahindra XEV 9e and the BE 6e, which look very similar to their concept versions.
Based on the company’s own INGLO platform, both the models will feature ground-up EV architecture. Both the models are easily discernible as the XEV 9e features the standard butterfly Mahindra logo, whereas the BE 6e will feature the ‘BE’ logo.
Staged as the most-feature rich models of the manufacturer, the car has hyped up the expectations of auto-enthusiasts. The earlier spy pictures of teh production ready version shows the XEV 9e with a triple-display setup for the dashboard and the BE 6e with a driver-centric dashboard and centre console layout with a new twin-spoke steering wheel and a glowing logo.
Meanwhile, no details are out about the specification and mechanical details about both model as the company has kept a tight wrap about them.
Leak reports have suggested that they will come with two battery pack options with a driving range of approximately 500km on a single charge. More details are likely to emerge soon as we move closer to the global debut.
