Kia Seltos and Sonet line up gets bigger with five new variants

Kia has added five new variants for Seltos and Sonet in India with prices starting at Rs 18.99 lakh and Rs 9.59 lakh, respectively. With the addition of 5 new variants, the models now have a 21 and 22 variants, respectively.

Customers now also have the option to buy a Sonet with a turbo petrol engine under Rs 10 lakh with the introduction of the Smartstream G1.0 HTK iMT variant.

What’s new?

The Seltos GTX+ and X-Line variants now feature UV-cut glass, Solar Glass and White callipers at front and rear. The new GTX variant gets trimmed down Level 2 ADAS suite, ventilated front seats, a sliding armrest, and a 360-degree camera, to name a few, over the HTX variant. The new GTX trim brings some very important features from the higher variants.

With the Sonet, the new variants are packed with features like ISOFIX, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, LED headlamps, sofix child seat anchorage points, paddle shifters, rear wipers and washers, paddle shifters, leatherette seats, drive and traction control modes, auto up/down safety window function, and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Kia Seltos and Sonet new variants prices

Kia Seltos GTX with 1.5T GDi motor with 7DCT is priced at Rs 18.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the 1.5T CRDi GTX with 6AT transmission comes at Rs 18.99 lakh. All the prices are EX-Showroom Pan India.
Meanwhile, the Sonet’s new HTK variant with G1.0 TGDi motor and iMT transmission is priced at Rs 9.59 lakh, and the GTX two new variants (1.0 TGDi GTX with 7DCT, 1.5 CRDi GTX with 5AT) is priced at Rs 13.70 lakh and Rs 14.55 lakh, respectively.

Meanwhile, the X-line gets a new Aurora Black Pearl colour option with an all-black glossy look along with the existing Matt Graphite option.

Meanwhile, Ki has also revised the prices of select models in the country.
