Kawasaki showcases Hydrogen run bike concept

Japanese two-wheeler maker Kawasaki has showcased a new hydrogen-run bike concept named HySE-X1. It looks like a superbike.

Following Suzuki, Japanese two-wheeler maker Kawasaki has showcased a new hydrogen-run bike concept named as HySE-X1. On December 12, the concept of motorcycle fuelled by Hydrogen was revealed at the Group Vision 2030 Progress Report meeting. It is being ready to run in the Mission 100 program at the 2024 Dakar Rally.

Kawasaki is developing the Hydrogen run bike concept under its own HySE project. Like the brand’s superbikes, the Hydrogen motorcycle concept seems to have a bulky body design with futuristic sculpted creases. At front, the bike sports a round headlight with LED Daytime Running lights in a ‘H’ shape. The DRL seems to be wrapped around the LED headlamp. The LED turn indicators are embedded into the chunky mirrors. A sharp windscreen stays in between the mirrors.

The Kawasaki motorcycle concept also features a robust exhaust system. At the rear, the bike seems to have split LED tail lights and two large boxes, shaped like a large bag.

Meanwhile, the powertrain details remain a mystery. As a Hydrogen-fueled bike, it is expected to have an engine that will be adapted to the use of cleaner fuel. More details about the motorcycle will likely emerge in the future.

Apart from two-wheeler makers, the four-wheeler makers are also working on developing passenger vehicles that can run on hydrogen, which is considered to be more cleaner than Petrol and diesel.
