Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has expanded the Venue lineup with the addition of a new variant called S(O)+ in India. It comes with an electric sunroof. The new variant of Venue comes with the same features as the S(O) version. Moreover the equipment are also identical as the S(O) version.
Apart from the electric sunroof, there is no other new feature in the latest variant.
New Hyundai Venue S(O)+ variant with electric sunroof
According to Hyundai, the S(O)+ variant of Venue features an electric sunroof, but it is not an panoramic one. The other features of the new variant include an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also has LED DRLs, LED projector headlights, and a digital instrument cluster. On the safety front, it gets a rear camera, six airbags, TPMS, ESC, hill-start assist control, and more.
Powertrain options for the Hyundai Venue S(O)+
The newly launched variant is powered by the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated Kappa petrol engine. It is available in the manual option only. We are awaiting confirmation whether the equivalent turbo-petrol S(O) variant will also get this update.
