Hyundai Exter new poster unveiled, confirmed as Micro SUV

Hyundai has recently announced its much-anticipated upcoming SUV, called Hyundai Exter. It is positioned as the company’s new micro SUV. This new entry-level SUV will join the automaker’s lineup of popular models like the Hyundai Creta, Alcazar, Venue, Kona Electric, Tucson, and Ioniq 5.

Previously the automaker has released the official teaser of Hyundai Exter representing the outdoors, travel and leisure and its inspiration from the natural world surrounding it. The Hyundai Exter will be positioned below the company’s entry-level SUV, the Hyundai Venue. It will be launched in the second half of the year.

Now a small glimpse has been unveiled by the automaker of Hyundai Exter.

Exter, which is pictured above in green and black with parametric patterns on the front fascia along with a roof rail and H-shaped LED DRLs. The image even highlights the square shaped headlamps.

Hyundai Exter: Features 

The Exter will compete directly against Tata Punch and is expected to derive power from a 1.2L NA petrol engine. The vehicle is expected to be available with a manual and automatic transmission, while the innovative iMT technology could also be featured. Report says an additional 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine to be provided for users with an additional powertrain option. The engine is expected to develop 83PS of maximum power and peak torque of 113.8Nm.

The micro SUV is anticipated to be equipped with advanced features including connected technology, an infotainment screen, LED lighting and many more, just like all Hyundai vehicles. It is expected that the automaker will launch Hyundai Exter in the second half of the year priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
